The Goat
The Goat Adventure Run is the premier alpine trail challenge in New Zealand and draws people from all walks of life to find out whether they’ve ‘Goat’ what it takes to finish the course.
Participants run from Whakapapa to Turoa Ski Fields on the Round the Mountain track, traversing the western slopes of Mount Ruapehu, passing by ancient lava flows and scoria fields, an alpine lake, boulder-strewn rivers and even climbing a waterfall!
Described as the ‘celebrity’ trail running event for Kiwis, The Goat is a sell-out event and we couldn’t be more proud of what it’s become over 18 years of existance.
