Sun to Surf welcomes participants of all abilities to experience the unique beach vibes of the treasured Eastern Bay region.

The 21.1km half marathon, and 10km are flat, fast, and scenic courses that challenge participants to make a PB, while the 5km course is perfect for families and those new to running and walking events. And is it ever too early to introduce your children to running? We don’t think so! The 1km kids’ event is sure to spark some excitement in your little ones and is great entertainment!

Ohope Beach is not only ‘New Zealand’s Favourite Beach’, it’s Victory Events director, Jason Cameron’s as well. Jason and his family visit Ohope Beach regularly and he has a special place in his heart for Ohope and the Whakatane district.
